Driving Lessons

Once you've got your provisional licence it's time to think about starting your learning. You can start to take lessons as soon as you receive your provisional licence providing that you meet the minimum age requirement. If you are 16 and turning 17 you can still book a lesson for your birthday and be ready to start on that day. As well as choosing an instructor, which we will cover in the "Instructors" section of this site, you need to consider how you are going to take your lessons. The structure of your learning is an important aspect to consider when you start as effective management of your learning will help you improve quicker and get the most for your money.

Learner drives can also drive on public roads when accompanied by a qualifying adult. This person must be over the age of 21 and must have held a valid UK licence for over 3 years. there are factors to consider when beginning Private tuition and this section will also provide guidance on who can help you learn and when you start private tuition aswell as other aspects, such as the laws both you and the individual accompanying you need to be aware of.
